Would you stop eating meat to save the planet?
A new campaign has been launched by pro-veggie group VIVA and Heather Mills McCartney.

They say people should give up meat to protect the planet. They focus on the environmental impact of deforestation and livestock on global warming.
Do you agree? Would you stop eating meat if it was guaranteed you would be helping save the planet? What do you think of the campaign? Are you a staunch meat eater who would like to have his/her say on this matter?

If the cessation of meat-eating would indeed save the planet, then I would do so.
However, since THE PLANET IS NOT IN DANGER, I shall continue in p.e.t.a. (people eating tasty animals).
Want to come over for the barbque this weekend?
I think the appropriate question would be:
Would you kill Heather Mills in order to save the planet?
Umm No…The idea of using the term save the planet and stop eating meat is a new low for vegans.
Time for juicy rare steak..dripping in goodness.
Nothing is going to save the planet were getting closer to the sun fact were all fucked have been since day 1 x x x
I don’t see how not eating meat would save the planet. The meat in America is grown for the purpose of eating and there is not any deforestation involved. Ours are raised on ranches and farms, we grow the food as in our crops and if we did stop eating animals we would still grow the crops. As would other countries. The crops in other countries is why the forests are being depleted. They use the land to grow crops. Animals like the shade and food needs the sun. So I will continue to eat meat on a daily basis. I have never met a truly healthy vegetarian. Most don’t live past 60, and the meat eaters are healthy and are living to be 100. So for that reason again I will continue to eat meat. They can show me one or two long living vegetarians but as numbers go the meat eaters out number them as far as longevity of life.
I did, but for my own health.
I thought cow farts were a major contributor to ‘global warming? We should eat more cows then…right?
Afterall..cows are made of meat.
Wish you idiot enviros would get your stories straight..you’re giving me a headache.
