kiva.org, arranges micro-loans to developing countries citizens

I have recently learned of a company called Kiva that does social lending to third world people that need small loans. This company is based out of the states and I would prefer to work with a Canadian company that does similar work. Any one know of such an organization. Thanks in advance.
